April Report: South Padre Island, 2008

   Short report for April: 21 sailable days, 2.9 to 7.5. Water averaging 78 degrees. Many So.Cal. sailors - among them are Gabor, Jay, Peter from San Diego, and a bunch from Lake Isabella - Moss, Joyce and Rachel. The flats have been under water a few times but the sun makes up and dries it out. We are resting today; we have had 25 to 35 mph of wind for several days and need the day off!
P.S. Counted 57 kiters one day.
