Dana Point Session
by Paul Gaudette

The coast has been going off this spring. When it's 30 at Seal/Sunset, South OC gets going with 20's. Here is a very rare session at Doheny State Beach in Dana Point (it was me, last night). Throwing caution to the wind, headed out with way too little down-haul (left the correct extension at home) and too small a board for the fading and shifty conditions (should've had the 118 not the 91!). Needless to say I scored a few speedy runs and survived to tell about it. Wind was side/side-off, gusty and chilly. Never ever seen anyone sail here before.
